Summary

We are looking for motivated, experienced teachers to join our 5 star center. Experience with The Abeka Curriculum is preferred, but not required. Proven classroom management skills and knowledge of child development required. Teacher's with a "servant's heart" who are passionate about educating children and want to provide quality child development with care and compliance. Professionally mature persons are asked to apply.

Duties

• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum.
• Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
• Maintain positive communication with parents.
• Ensure all center policies and state regulations for operation are maintained.
• Create and maintain a healthy, positive classroom environment.
• Work as a team to ensure productive classroom management with assisting staff and volunteers.
• Ensure planned activities, hygiene and safety standards are consistently a priority.
• Maintain accurate records, forms and files.
• Maintain a professional appearance and hygiene for families.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional child care experience preferred.
• High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• Must clear full background check, TB test, and physical.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree in early childhood education or related field of study preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills.
• Email communication access
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification. - or we will provide training
